Wife Jean Breary, married 1937, daughter born 1940 in Salford.
1911 census shows Dennis Acton living with his grandparents Robinson in Swinton.
Called up for duty in December 1942.
Address at time of death 39 Eccles Road, Swinton.
Dennis Acton was employed before the war by Dunn Bros. Successors's Ltd. Manchester.
He was a member of the Cheshire Provincial Stewards Lodge of Freemasons, and also a member of the A.R.P. at Guardroom C.
As a boy Dennis attended St. Peters School, Swinton.

Can not trace James on the 1881 census, however in 1891 and 1901 he is living with his mother and sister in Macclesfield Cheshire, his mother is a widow.
(2) Jane Robinson born 1882 Swinton, parents Arthur Robinson (3) born 1856 Loversall Yorkshire and Elizabeth Evans (4) born 1861 Salford.
