Frank Higgin was born 1907 in Swinton, the son of Egbert Higgin (1) and Agnes Elizabeth Ace (2) . He married Alice Egan in 1928.
At the time of death Frank was living with his wife at 99 Shakespeare Road, Swinton, another branch of the family were living at 73 Shakespeare Road. He died in a Ministry of Pensions Hospital in Leeds of Chronic Nephritis. Higgin was called up for duty in January 1941 and served with the Royal Artillery in England and Scotland until June 1943 when he was discharged on medical grounds and granted a pension. Before the war he was employed by Messrs. J. Gerrard and Sons, Swinton. He was attached to St. Peters Church, Swinton, as a boy he took an active part in Scouting.

(2) Agnes Elizabeth Ace born 1872 in Swansea, Wales.
Egbert and Agnes Elizabeth married at Manchester Cathedral in 1895.
